    Who is Lady Bond for?

Created for professional lash artists across a wide range of experience levels. Whether you are newly qualified, intermediate, or more advanced, Lady Bond’s forgiving formula makes it a dependable essential in any lash kit.

    What is Lady Bond?

Lady Bond is a best-selling, medium-drying eyelash extension adhesive with a setting time of 1–2 seconds. Its versatile formulation supports both Classic and Russian Volume techniques, delivering a strong, secure bond while allowing enough time for precise placement.

When Should You Use Lady Bond?

Choose Lady Bond when working in changing or unpredictable room conditions, or during seasonal shifts. It performs optimally within a temperature range of 18°C–22°C and humidity levels of 50%–65%, offering stable and consistent results in most salon environments.

    Why Choose Lady Bond?

Because control is key to perfecting your technique. With its 1–2 second drying time, you gain the extra time needed to refine placement, wrap volume fans correctly, and improve overall attachment — helping to maximise retention and reduce premature lash loss.

How to get the best eyelash extension retention with Lady Bond?

If your room conditions fluctuate, your retention may be affected. If you notice poor attachment or reduced retention, follow this professional checklist:

    • Control Your Environment:
Use a hygrometer to monitor your conditions. If humidity drops below 50% or temperature falls below 18°C, the adhesive will cure more slowly. If humidity rises above 65% or temperature exceeds 22°C, curing time will increase. Adjust accordingly using a humidifier, dehumidifier, air conditioning, or heating.

    • Manage Your Glue Drop:
Work with a fresh adhesive drop at all times. Replace every 10–20 minutes (more frequently in warmer conditions). Avoid topping up an existing drop, as this will affect consistency. Ensure your adhesive bead is well-balanced — too little will compromise retention.

    • Perfect Your Prep:
Thoroughly cleanse natural lashes using Lash Foam and Protein Remover Pads. Follow with Cleanser to remove residual oils, then Primer to restore moisture and balance pH levels. For enhanced performance, use Retention & Speed Booster to support optimal bonding.

    • Lock in the Result:
For clients prone to touching their lashes or sleeping face-down, finish with Superbonder Lash Sealant to instantly cure the adhesive, improve flexibility, and protect the bond.

    • Check Your Application:
Ensure at least 2mm of clean attachment with no split or crossed bases.

    FAQ

    Which glue is the fastest?

Our fastest glues are Power Bond, Royal Bond and Swift Bond and they are drying in 0.5-1 second if used in their recommended temperature and humidity range.

    • Power Bond works best in 18-22°C (64.4 - 71.6°F) and 50-65% humidity.

    • Royal Bond works best in 18-22°C (64.4 - 71.6°F) and 30-80% humidity.

    • Swift Bond works best in 18-22°C (64.4 - 71.6°F) and 40-85% humidity.

Remember, that the higher the humidity in your room, the faster any glue works! Please note that the adhesives listed above are extremely fast and should be used only by HIGHLY EXPERIENCED technicians. Incorrect work with fast-drying adhesives can cause retention problems.

Which glue is best for me?

The best lash glue for you will depend on a few different factors. As a beginner, you’ll be looking more at glues like Lady Bond or Satin Bond which have a more gradual drying time. Check out our glue comparison table for a complete guide to picking your glue.

For the most accurate suggestion, you’ll need to know

    • Your room temperature

    • Your room humidity

    • How long it takes you to place an extension on the natural lash after you’ve dipped it into the glue

So it’s worth investing in a hygrometerto keep an eye on your typical room conditions.

For more information on how to select the perfect lash glue for you, check out our blog A Guide To Picking Your Perfect Match!

Or alternatively, contact our customer care team at info@londonlashpro.com

Which glue is suitable for sensitive eyes?

All our glues contain the same active ingredient, which is cyanoacrylate. The majority of allergic reactions are caused by the fumes of cyanoacrylate. If a client has experienced a reaction, the likelihood is now they will always be allergic. That is why we do not recommend performing a treatment on a client who had previously developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive or is showing any signs of the reaction.

If you perform a treatment on a client with contraindications to the treatment, you may not be covered under your beauty insurance.

Clients who experience just mild discomfort from the glue fumes may benefit from reducing the fumes with Superbonder at the end of the treatment.

Another tip will be to reduce the glue fumes around the client’s face by using the Glamcor Flow to extract the glue fumes and improve the air quality.

My glue is drying too slow

Your room conditions may be affecting the polymerisation process of the adhesive.

We would suggest trying to increase the humidity in the room for faster adhesive polymerisation and adjusting your temperature accordingly. You can also use Booster on the lash strip to increase the speed of polymerisation and improve the retention.

We would highly recommend purchasing a Hygrometer to monitor your room conditions and ensure you are working within the optimal room conditions for your adhesive.

Here are a few tips on how you can increase the humidity in your lash room/salon:

    1. Place a damp towel over the radiator
    2. Get a humidifier - you can pick up cute little ones on the internet, and for an added little touch of relaxation and luxury for you and your clients, you can add a little drop of essential oil to give out a delicate scent!
    3. Add some little droplets of water along the eyepatch using a microfibre brush
    4. Apply Primer in sections as you work to keep the lashes moistened

Alternatively, if you have been lashing for a while, you may simply have improved your lashing speed! In this case, your lash glue may now be too slow for you. Why not consider testing out a faster-drying adhesive?

    My glue became gloopy, why?

There are a few reasons why your glue could become gloopy, however, it usually comes down to incorrect storage and care of the bottle itself.

Here is a little checklist to prevent it from happening:

Ensure your glue is not expired and that it was stored correctly in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and protected from humidity

Ensure that no residue glue in the nozzle has been pushed back into the glue bottle - this may ruin the rest of the glue

Check if your glue has not been opened for longer than 8 weeks

Ensure you close the glue correctly straight after pouring out the drop of glue as otherwise, the glue can start changing its consistency

Do NOT wipe the nozzle with a wet wipe as it may cause the glue in the bottle to become gloopy

If you require any assistance with your lash adhesive, get in touch with us by emailing info@londonlashpro.com including your order number with a description of the problem.

    My fans are closing, why?

The number one reason why your Russian Volume fans will be closing from the point of dipping them in the lash glue, is simply that your lash glue is drying too slowly for you.

We would first recommend reviewing the necessary room conditions for your glue and adjusting accordingly to increase the temperature and humidity. A great solution to prevent fans from closing and control and improve the bonding process is using Booster on the lash strip before you pick off the lashes to create your fans.

Important note: Booster should not be applied to the natural lashes.

We also recommend checking the amount of glue that you are picking up, as using too much adhesive can also cause the fans to close.

How do I clean my glue nozzle?

Use a glue nozzle wipe to wipe off the glue from the nozzle after every use. Keep the bottle in an upright position and squeeze the bottle gently to get glue residue out of the nozzle.

When shaking the glue by hand, make sure to remove the cap first, and cover the nozzle with a glue nozzle wipe. This will prevent the glue from getting stuck in the cap.

When shaking the glue with a glue shaker, ensure to hold the glue shaker in an upright position so the bottle is facing vertically (with the cap at the top) and when finished, remove the cap and wipe the nozzle with a glue nozzle wipe.

    Important safety note:

Do not use cotton pads, cotton wool, tissues, or any fibrous materials to clean the nozzle. Cotton fibres can react chemically with cyanoacrylate-based adhesives, which may cause rapid curing, heat build-up, or present a flammability risk. Always use lint-free glue nozzle wipes only.

For more information on the correct storage of your lash glue, read our Glue FAQ blog!

What is the shelf life of the glue?

The shelf life for our glues before opening is 6 months from the date of production. This can be found printed on the bottom of the bottle or the foil pouch the glue arrived in.

After opening a glue bottle, we recommend changing your glue bottle every 4 weeks for the best retention, and maximum every 8 weeks. To keep an eye on the freshness of your glue, simply stick a piece of tape with a written date when you open your glue.

Please note that sample-size (2ml) adhesives should be used within 5 days of opening, which differs from the recommended usage timeframe for our 5ml bottles.

My glue nozzle got blocked, what do I do?

You can purchase a spare nozzle to replace the blocked nozzle. If the nozzle got stuck to the cap, we recommend trying our Glue Rescue Kit

Our Glue Nozzle Opener is also a  great tool to make nozzle changes quick, clean, and easy.

To prevent it from happening in the future, please ensure to clean your glue nozzle after every use, always store your glue correctly, and do not squeeze the bottle to dispense a glue drop.

My glue bottle has a white residue, why?

The white residue on your glue bottle is adhesive that has shock polymerised due to exposure to moisture. This may be caused by not storing your glue correctly or by not fully closing the glue cap.

Please ensure you always store the glue in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight and that the glue cap is always fully attached to the bottle.

My glue appears clear, is it normal?

Every glue should be shaken for at least 1-2 minutes prior to use for the ingredients to mix. If you are using a Glue Shaker this time will be cut down.

Unless you are using Crystal Bond, which is a clear glue, your glue drop should always be black without any traces of transparent liquid. Ensure you shake the glue not only before the first use of the day but also each time you open it to refresh your glue drop.

How should I store my glue correctly?

    Before opening:

For optimal shelf life, your adhesive can be stored in the refrigerator while still sealed in the original vacuum pack provided. This helps to preserve its stability prior to first use. Make sure the glue remains inside the vacuum packaging until you are ready to open it.

    After opening:

Once opened, your glue should not be stored in the fridge. Instead, keep it at room temperature in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, heat, or humidity. Always store your glue upright to prevent leakage and to help maintain its consistency.

Proper storage is key to maintaining the performance and longevity of your adhesive.

How do I remove lash adhesive safely?

Lash extensions should be removed by a qualified professional only using products designed specifically for professional use. Never attempt to force, pull, or peel extensions off, as this can cause damage to the natural lashes and skin.

For safe and effective removal, we recommend using a dedicated professional lash adhesive remover such as our Cream Remover or Gel Remover. This is designed to gently dissolve adhesive bonds, allowing you to remove extensions in a controlled and precise way without unnecessary tension on the natural lashes.

Always follow correct removal techniques, work in small sections, and ensure your client’s eyes are properly protected throughout the process.

How to get the best retention using Lady Bond?

The best temperature for Lady Bond Glue glue is 18-22°C (64.4°F - 71.6°F)  with perfect humidity conditions being 50-65% Please remember that if your:

    • Temperature is lower than 18°C (64.4°F), glue may be drying slower
    • Temperature is higher than 22°C (71.6°F), glue may be drying quicker
    • Humidity is lower than 50%, glue may be drying slower
    • Humidity is higher than 65%, glue may be drying quicker

Working in the perfect glue conditions will ensure its drying time is on point, resulting in great retention. To monitor your room conditions, we recommend using a  hygrometer. The easiest way to adjust the temperature in your lash room is to use an Air Conditioner, fan or heater/radiator. To increase or decrease the humidity, use a humidifier or dehumidifier.

Remember that incorrect work with fast-drying adhesive can cause poor retention. If your room has high humidity and temperature, your glue will dry much faster. But since the speed of your work is not increasing accordingly, you might experience poor attachment causing extensions to “brush off” at the end of the treatment OR fall off the natural lashes within the next 2-3 days after the treatment.

Your retention may also be affected if your adhesive is not fresh or you store or use your glue incorrectly.

The shelf life of full size Lady Bond glue before opening is 6 months from the date of production and for the sample it’s 3 months. After opening, we recommend changing your glue bottle every 4 weeks for the best retention. If you use the sample bottle, you need to change it every 5-7 days.  Please remember to store your glue in the upright position, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in an airtight container

To keep an eye on the freshness of your glue, simply stick a piece of tape with a written date of the glue opening onto your adhesive bottle. When shaking the glue, remove the lid and cover the nozzle with a folded in half glue nozzle wipe. Remember to wipe the nozzle after every use of the glue to prevent the nozzle getting stuck into the cap .

If you notice that your retention is not perfect, please go through this checklist:

    • Adjust  the level of humidity and/or temperature in the room to the recommended levels.
    • Check if you clean natural lashes properly - we recommend using  Lash Foam cleanser to clean the eye area from any dust, oils or makeup (make sure to rinse it well before lash application!) AND/OR  protein remover pads (removes traces of makeup and oils). After a thorough cleaning process and applying eyepatches, prepare natural lashes using cleanser (removes any remaining oils), followed by primer (hydrates and neutralises PH level).
    • For even better results, use Retention & Speed Booster as a last preparation step to open hair cuticles and enable the glue to bond better with a natural lash.
    • For those clients who “play” with their lashes and sleep with their “face in the pillow” - use Retention Superbonder as the last step of your application procedure. Superbonder cures the glue faster and makes the glue texture more flexible and less likely “to snap off” the natural lashes.
    • Check if your professional eyelash glue bottle is still fresh.
    • Make sure you ALWAYS work with a fresh glue drop (we recommend changing a glue drop every 10-20 minutes - or even more frequently during the hot months).
    • Make sure you pick up a good amount of glue - a too small bead that is not visible or a very thin layer of adhesive might not be enough to hold the extension on the natural lash during the next few weeks. Consider that most of your clients might sleep with their face in the pillow and “play” with their eyelashes.
    • Check if your attachment is correct (at least 2 mm attachment with the natural lash, no split or criss-crossed bases).
    • The glue drop used should be neither too large (the greater the surface, the more the adhesive will come into contact with the air), nor too small (the glue drop will dry too fast).
    • Do not add fresh glue onto the previous drop of the glue (the contact between the "old" and the "new" drop will make the glue ‘gloopy’ very quickly).
    • If none of the above is working - switch to slightly slower drying adhesive or consider booking a training or a mentoring session with one of London Lash Approved Trainers

The glue for semi-permanent eyelash extensions is for professional use only.
